On the week of January 26, we had Flexible Instruction (FID) days every day of the week except Friday, which we had off. We had these FID days due to the snow that fell on Sunday. Not everyone thinks the same of the FID days; some people loved them, while others didn’t.
No one truly knows all the effects of remote learning, but people have found that students who have had remote learning for some time typically exhibit worse behavior.
“I like them [FID days], I like them better because it’s easier to work and there are shorter periods. I also just like staying at home and not having to ask for stuff like going to the bathroom.” Dominic Ash (7) said.
“They are better than in-person days. I like them because I get to be at home,” Logan Mueller (7) said.
“Good, they don’t know what you’re doing every second,” John Rywolt (5) said.
“I think they’re ok. It’s just better than actually going to school,” Dante Decanini (5) said.
I personally like FID days, because I am more motivated to work and I can eat all day.
