Ms. Spiker is the building substitute for Freedom Area Middle School, and this August she got a new pup. Spiker’s dog’s name is Remington ,Remi for short. Remi is a Bernese mountain dog and he is only 13 weeks old. Remi is 38 pounds and he is only a puppy! Remi isn’t an ordinary pup though; he lives with two cats and 10 chickens! Remi is also very helpful to the Spiker family because he herds the chickens for them. Some tips on owning a puppy, according to Spiker, is to have lots of treats and lots of patience.
