Hey! I’m Alexa and I’m in 7th grade. I’ve been apart of the Newspaper staff for two years now; this will be my third year. I’d say I’ve learned quite a lot since I first joined. My 5th grade English teacher suggested it to me towards the beginning of my second year at Freedom, and I’m glad she did. Being able to write my own articles in my own style of writing is all I’ve ever wanted. Plus, I enjoy staying up to date with the FASD news and activities.. Right now I’m apart of the school band, Drama club, basketball and softball (and Newspaper, obviously) but I plan on joining the soccer and volleyball team this year whenever the season starts back up. I’m also okay at drawing, I guess.
