Earth Day is a great way to help the Earth be the best environment for mammals and biodiversity. Every year on April 22, we celebrate Earth Day. But every year, the environment gets progressively worse like climate change, which is causing sea level rise and bad weather.
If you want to help the Earth on Earth Day, you can do some of these things: plant a tree, recycle, ride a bike or walk instead of driving a car, conserve electricity, and there are many more things you can do to help the Earth on its special day!
Each year around Earth Day, Ms. Jeanine Ging, sixth-grade teacher, surprises all sixth-grade students with a tiny tree sapling so that they can plant it in their yards.
“I am giving the whole sixth grade tree saplings,” said Ms. Ging.
Everywhere I go, I see trash on beaches, parks, oceans, and beside the road, but I also see people cleaning it. We can help too. You can go to different websites to sign up to help clean up the Earth.
What will you do next Earth Day?
