The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical was held in the high school auditorium on Feb. 28, March 1, and March 2. It was a successful production, and many people sat down to watch the high school and middle school students perform. The middle school students were a great addition to the musical and made a significant impact.
Many students from our middle school participated in the high school musical, which went well and as planned.
“It was a good play, and the directors did a really good job teaching us. The overall experience was amazing, ” said Chase Bonaparte, a seventh-grade student.
The middle schoolers played a big role in acting for smaller parts that the play needed to come to life. Students played Oompa-Loompas, background characters, and even squirrels. The most common role was to be an Oompa-Loompa. The show averaged about two hours per show day. Now, who played the main character? The main character, Willie Wonka, was played by high school student, Christopher Denkovich.
The high school musical was an overall great success and was watched by so many people. Everything went as planned and was very entertaining, with so many immersive elements such as decorations, and actors coming off stage to go through the crowd. After the days of countless practices, the play was a success.
