This year’s winter formal is getting closer and closer and students are so excited to get into their pretty dresses and nice suits. Last year’s formal went great and a lot of seventh and eighth grade students took their time to go and dress up their best. This year’s formal is on Friday, Jan. 31 from 7-9 p.m, at Freedom’s middle school.
“I liked going last year because I got to spend time with my friends and make more memories, not just with my friends but also with other students I don’t talk to as often,” Kylie Dambach, eighth-grade student, said.
Kylie is excited for the formal coming up and she can’t wait to have a blast with her friends and make more memories.
“I am pretty excited to go, but I am a little nervous because it is my first official dance,” Gemma Hershey, seventh-grader, said.
This is the second year that the Freedom Middle School seventh and eighth grade has had the formal in a few years. The last time they had a formal was in December of 2018 because COVID prevented larger groups from getting together.
“I really liked going last year because I got to see all my friends and the food was really good,” Kaitlin Evans, eighth-grade student, said.
A lot of the students that are in eighth grade are excited for their second year going to the formal. The FMS Parents can’t wait to see everyone that is coming and is so excited to get this formal ready!
