Several drawings, pictures, and other things have been found on the bathroom walls. It is more seen in the boy’s restroom than the girl’s. Mr. Jeff Griffith, the school principal, said, “Some of the consequences could include the following, parent contact, an in-school suspension the first time, or a Saturday detention. Some students have even been throwing wet toilet paper on the ceilings.” Mr. Jeff Griffith states, “They don’t understand who it affects, and the extra work it creates.” I am very sure the custodians that we have worked very hard so we have clean bathrooms, and I’m sure they would love not to clean the bathroom an extra time.
Mrs. Mimi, one of our current janitors, also explains that students have been writing on the walls of the bathroom 3-4 times a week, she also states that she notices it more in the boy’s bathroom than girl’s, and it’s not in the same bathroom every week.
Mrs. Mimi explains “You guys are becoming young adults, and you should know how to act, there is a lot worse writing on the walls as well.”
