Here at Freedom, we love to have our students involved in different activities as much as possible. Including movie nights! On Feb. 23, the FMS Parents decided to bring movie nights back for the first time, prior to COVID.
“When the board was coming up with ideas for the students in the 2023-2024 school year, we wanted to see if there were any ideas that FMS Parents provided before COVID-19 that we could bring back,” Kristen Evans, President of the FMS Parents, said. “We held several movie nights yearly, but they never were well attended. We decided we would try having one right after school, to eliminate the fact that some kids can’t get rides both ways, to and from the school, and we decided to make it free along with some free popcorn.”
It seems that students, that went, enjoyed this movie night and had a fun time. The FMS Parents are hoping that this sparks some new ideas and helps plan some fun future activities and events!
