Snowfall is making the Freedom Middle School fall in love with this year’s music. This year, albums have been released, music genres are changing, and most importantly, people are listening to more music. Freedom Middle School students had filled out a Google Form with questions on their music opinions. Let’s take a look at Freedom Middle School’s wrap.

Freedom Middle School has picked the top three genres of music: Country at number one with 31.1%, number two pop at 23%, and number three Rap/Hip Hop at 11.5%. 

Now let’s focus on artists. We’ve gotten a lot of different responses. By far, our most popular artist is Taylor Swift with 13 responses. Our second most popular artist is Morgan Wallen with six responses. Our third most popular is a close tie with Classic Rock artists including Queen, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, etc. Freedom Middle School students listen to many different artists and genres. 

We also found out the music platforms that students listen to. The number one music platform people listen to is Spotify with 41%. Which is the origin of the name “Freedom Middle School wrapped”. The second place music platform that people listen to is Apple Music with 16.4%. The third place is tied with Pandora and CD/Records. 

Freedom Middle School has gone through many genres, artists, and music platforms. Students submitted over 61 responses. Each person who responded has given us different music from different eras. We’ve got music responses from country to classic rock to pop music. In all Freedom students have an interesting range of music genres. Popular artists are still taking the lead. As seen earlier Taylor Swift is one of the most listened to artists for students. This just goes to show the influence popularity can have on us.
